Winner - 150th Year Willoughby City Council Heritage Photo Competition.

I was delighted, thrilled and somewhat surprised to win the 150th Year Willoughby City Council Heritage Photo Competition. The picture "Morning at Castlehaven Inlet" was taken at 6.47am April 12 at the bottom of the Castlehaven Track that leads down to the shore line of the inlet on one of those beautiful April autumn early mornings that you experience in Sydney's Middle Harbour with the temperature around 19C. Taken with an iPhone 5 and worked in Picasa 3.9, the edit was simple with just a little luminance and saturation added and a touch of sharpening. Basically this is how breathtakingly beautiful Castlehaven Inlet looked at that moment on that day..
