The Story
What you see is not sand shaped by the tide, nor ripples formed by a shifting current. ‘Ripple Lines’ is a reflection—an illusion created by water’s ever-changing canvas.
This artwork captures the distorted image of a cloth draped over the side of a vessel, its folds and textures reshaped by the dance of light and movement on the water’s surface. The lines ripple like patterns in the sand, yet they exist only in the transient moment of reflection.
