Wayne Sorensen’s award-winning imagery captures nature at its most powerful and poetic. His celebrated work “Emperor’s Rule”—winner of the Animals in Nature category at the 2024 Australian Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year—is a breathtaking study in patience, timing, and light.
In this exclusive Art Aperitifs session, Wayne invites us behind the lens to share his creative and technical techniques on a shoot—from how he reads weather and light, to the ways he composes motion and texture in the landscape.
He’ll discuss his journeys to remote wilderness regions like Antarctica and Africa, plus he will reveal the balance between art and instinct that defines his work. Expect beautiful imagery, honest stories, and insights that will inspire photographers, artists, and nature lovers alike.
Plus he will have for sale a collection of framed works from his new Africa collection, which has already received multiple international accolades.
