Ascensions

This body of works, Ascension, awoke in me the idea of ascension into enlightenment, a path difficult and shrouded in mystery throughout civilisation. It also evokes the idea of the inner working of the brains - energy and insight combined. The images were captured on the hull of Bundeena, a 40foot ketch owned by Frank Taylor from Jarvis Bay New South Wales, Australia. The vessel was moored at the D'Albora Marina, the Spit, Middle Harbour, Sydney,. Australia.
