The Story
This artwork is a reflection of the Royal Australian Navy Ensign, the most important symbolic representation of any nations navy. The work was part of the Art of Navy exhibition commissioned in 2019 by the Royal Australian Navy with the purpose of altering traditional perceptions and practices of marine art and in so doing highlight the contemporary nature of the new navy driven by technology and the digital world.
