Giclee print on museum quality archival paper - Giclee Print on Hahnemeuhle German Etching Rag 310gsm
The Story
The artwork is a photograph of a reflection on the surface of the water. The artwork pays homage to the indigenous Australian Aboriginal painters in particular the East Kimberley mob that included Freddie Timms, Paddy Bedford and Rover Thomas of the Jirrawun Art collective and their artistic director, my old friend, Tony Oliver.
ORIGINAL WORK FEATURED IN THE INDETERMINATE SUBLIME EXHIBITION, ROTHKO MUSEUM, DAUGAVPILS, LATVIA & PART OF THE SAND TALK SERIES
About the Urban Reflections Collection
Urban Reflections captures the unexpected poetry found in the built environment — moments where glass, metal, shadow and movement distort the city into something abstract, contemplative and beautifully unfamiliar. These works transform architecture into living geometry, revealing the emotional undercurrents of modern life through colour, pattern and reflection. Each piece invites the viewer to slow down, look deeper, and discover the hidden rhythms within the structures that shape our world.
