The Story
I called this work Nurtured by Blue because the moment I captured it, I felt wrapped in the calm of colour. The blue felt soft and lush, like silk or velvet, and from its tranquil surface a gentle gold light began to rise — quiet and alive.
Though blue is often seen as cool and distant, this one feels warm, breathing softly as it feeds light back through its folds. It became, to me, an image of colour caring for light — of stillness bringing warmth to the surface.
As Yves Klein said, “Blue has no dimensions; it is beyond dimensions.” In Nurtured by Blue, the colour becomes both space and feeling — an endless sea of calm where light and emotion merge.
