Ralph's Million Dollar Rothko

$5,500.00

 100 × 150 cm

Edition 4/10

"Look, it's my misery that I have to paint this kind of painting, it's your misery that you have to love it, and the price of the misery is thirteen hundred and fifty dollars." Mark Rothko

The Story,

I move the camera and accidentally push the shutter whilst re-adjusting the seating in the kayak to prepare for my next shot. The movement in the artwork comes about as a result of movement in the kayak on the water. Pure serendipity and yet money seems no object to buyers who want to own this moment of pure chance.
